A complete set of Gerber files for manufacturing the Expansion Board
may be downloaded as a ZIP archive.
Also available are the source
files produced in Douglas Professional Layout for Macintosh.
Douglas distributes a freeware
version of their Professional Layout software, if you are
interested in revising the Expansion Board for your own purposes.
Assembly Notes
Here are some notes for assembling the Expansion Board:
- Square pads. The square pad indicates the mounting position
of pin 1 of an integrated circuit, the cathode (minus lead) of a
diode, the minus side of a polarized capacitor, or the marked pin of a
resistor pack (dot/band marking).
- With the exception of the six servo headers, all male header
pins mount facing down from the bottom of the board.
- The following diagram indicates areas of the board to be masked
before wave-soldering operation. Masked areas are marked in orange.
